REMINDER: Those participants who attended Carol Doak’s workshops in June have a challenge from Carol. Finish your tops from the classes you attended and bring them for show-n-tell in July. Your name will be placed in the drawing 1 time for each top to you have assembled. She has left a surprise with me. I will be taking pictures to send to her of the 3 groups.
October 7-9, 2010 Kim Diehl www.kimdiehl.com Best-selling author and award-winning quilter Kim Diehl will be here in October to share her quilt designs and time-saving techniques. Her designs, which she describes as “traditional with a twist” are a mixture of piecing and appliqué. Kim is the much sought-after author of four books, with another due out shortly after she visits us. I hear we will be getting a sneak peak!
PLACE: PARC – 1913 W. Townline Road, Peoria, IL All classes meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cottage Garden Table Runner Friday 10-08-2010 From Kim’s New Book - This is not on the web site and will not be out until around the time of the class.
Those who signed up for the Pedal Pusher class offered last month may switch to this one if they desire. Those who have signed up already will have supply lists available to be picked up at the July meeting. The table runner is a change from the class offered last month as there was little interest in that class.
